Ease
of
Operation
One
of
the
important
advantages
of
Hunter Douglas
window
shadings
over
traditional
soft
window
coverings
is
its
ease
of
operation.
A
continuous
cord
loop,
which
works
on
the
principle
of a
pulley,
rotates
a
clutch
to
raise
or
lower
the
shading
or
shade.
From
the
fully
raised
position,
pulling
down
on
the
front
half
of
the
cord
loop
lowers
the
shading.
Continuing
to
pull
on
the
cord,
in
the
fully
lowered
position,
the
rear
of
the
fabric
shifts
back
to
within
7/8"
of
the
window
or
mounting
surface.
The
covering
is
raised
by
pulling
on
the
rear
of
the
continuous
cord
loop.
The
fabric
first
moves
forward,
away
from
the
window,
and
then
rolls
up
to
conceal
itself
inside
the
headrail.
When
the
shading
is
fully
raised,
stops
on
the
end
caps
of
both
the
headrail
and
bottom
rail
prevent
further
movement.
